OnePlus has just debuted its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, in China, featuring Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It also packs a Hasselblad-tuned camera setup along with a larger 6,000mAh battery.
OnePlus 13 specs and features
Although still retaining a similar design language as its predecessor, the OnePlus 13 now sports a flat screen, but is still slightly curved at the edges. OnePlus has also kept its alert slider and has made the OnePlus 13 resistant towards water and dust, thanks to its IP68 and IP69 rating.
The OnePlus 13 is fitted with a 6.82-inch Quad HD+ LTPO OLED display that pushes out 3168 x 1440 pixels with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. This panel also has a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
As mentioned above, the OnePlus 13 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and can be paired with up to a whopping 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
In the imaging department, the OnePlus 13 is equipped with a triple 50MP camera setup that has been co-engineered by OnePlus and Hasselblad. This consists of a 50MP f/1.6 primary camera with a 1/1.4” Sony LYT-808 sensor and OIS, a 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide angle camera, and a 50MP f/2.6 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom capabilities. There is also a 32MP selfie shooter up front. Using the rear camera setup, you can record videos at up to 8K at 30fps, while the front camera can handle video recording at up to 4K at 60fps.
In terms of audio, the OnePlus 13 is fitted with a dual stereo speaker setup and a four-microphone setup with AI noise cancellation. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, along with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Supplying power to the OnePlus 13 is a 6,000mAh battery. This cell can be charged at 100W via a USB-C cable, which OnePlus says can juice it up from 0 to 50% in just 13 minutes, or 36 minutes from flat to full. Wireless charging can be done at a maximum rate of 50W.
In China, the OnePlus 13 runs on Oppo’s ColorOS 15, which is built atop Android 15. However, when launched globally, we can expect the device to run on OnePlus’s recently unveiled OxygenOS 15.
