The Huawei Pura 80 series is coming to Malaysia next week, a month after its official debut in China last month. The latest Huawei flagship smartphones are set to launch in Malaysia on 24th July 2025 and Malaysian consumers can enjoy extra freebies and benefits worth up to RM1,428 by placing an early deposit.
For our market, Huawei Malaysia is only offering two models of the series – Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra.

The Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra will go on sale from 8pm on Thursday, 24th July 2025.
For the Pura 80 Pro, Huawei Malaysia is offering freebies which includes 1-year Huawei Care+ worth RM479 and Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4. The Huawei Pura 80 Pro comes with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, and is offered in Glazed Red, Glazed Black and Glazed White.
Meanwhile, the range-topping Huawei Pura 80 Ultra is offered with freebies which also includes 1-year Huawei Care+ worth RM529 and Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 Black. The Pura 80 Ultra for Malaysia comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage. In terms of colours, it comes in either Prestige Gold and Golden Black.

Both the Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Ultra come with a 6.8″ 120Hz LTPO OLED display that pushes a resolution of 2848×1276 pixels. The two flagship devices are running on Kirin 9020, which is similar to the chip powering the Huawei Mate X6.
One of the key highlights of the Pura 80 series is the camera setup. Both get a 50MP main camera with 1″ sensor and variable f/1.6-f/4.0 aperture and a 40MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera.
In the telephoto department, the Pura 80 Pro gets a 48MP f/2.1 shooter, while the Pura 80 Ultra gets a more sophisticated setup with a 50MP sensor that can shift between two lenses – one with f/2.4 aperture with 3.7x optical zoom and another with f/3.6 aperture with 9.4x optical zoom.
For selfies, both devices are equipped with a 13MP wide-angle front camera.

Powering both devices are 5,170mAh battery that supports both 100W wired charging and 80W fast wireless charging.
Based on the official Pura 80 Pro and Putra 80 Ultra spec sheet, there’s no mention of 5G support, but it supports WiFi 7 802.11be and Bluetooth 5.2.
