We’re just one day away from Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, which is set to take place on 9th July, 10pm Malaysian time, where we’re expecting to see the company launch its Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 series of foldables. Also expected to launch alongside the foldables is the Galaxy Watch 8 series of smartwatches. And it seems like marketing materials of the latter have been leaked in their full glory.
Galaxy Watch 8 Classic to feature physical rotating bezel, “vanilla” Watch 8 with minimalist design?

Shared by social media platform Bluesky user Roland Quandt, the leaked posters show the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic along with the regular Galaxy Watch 8, with both sporting squircle case designs, a design language pioneered by last year’s Watch Ultra.
The Classic can be seen featuring a mechanical watch-like design, along with minute-style bezel markings and three buttons on the right side. As per previous rumours, this smartwatch is expected to be the brand’s first comeback of the Galaxy Watch Classic series since the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic (Samsung skipped the Classic with the Watch 7 generation).
It’s also rumoured to bring back the brand’s iconic rotating bezel, which has become a staple across Samsung’s smartwatches since the Gear S2. According to serial leaker Evan Blass, there will also be a second-generation Galaxy Watch Ultra, which should come with the same rugged design as last year’s model, but with new colour variants.

As for the ‘vanilla’ Galaxy Watch 8, it’s seen featuring a cleaner, more minimalist design, flanked by two rectangular buttons on its right side. From the looks of it, this smartwatch won’t feature a physical rotating bezel, but hopefully, it will at least come with a touch-sensitive digital rotating bezel.
Powering these Samsung watches is believed to be Samsung’s own Exynos W1000 chip, which is the same chipset found inside the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra.
