Perodua and Maybank Islamic have unveiled the new Perodua Flexiplan, which is based on the Maybank Islamic MyImpact Drive Financing-i. The new car ownership plan is said to be the first Shariah-compliant agility financing plan in Malaysia.
Not to be confused with previous iterations of Perodua Flexi Plans, the newly launched 2025 Perodua Flexiplan edition offers three main benefits. Among them is a more affordable monthly payment, even during the initial 5-year term.

After the first 5-year term is over, customers will be provided with several options. For one, they can choose to get a new Perodua car based on the residual value of their existing car that the national automaker itself guarantees.
This residual value is said to be more competitive than the market price and can be used to offset the down payment as well as the refreshed 5-year financing term. Alternatively, they can also choose to continue the financing for the existing Perodua car for up to 4 more years with a revised payment plan.

Of course, they can also choose to settle the remaining balance and fully own their Perodua car. Perodua Flexiplan also has several protection packages, such as the Credit Reducing Term Takaful, as well as the Perodua Total Protect Plus Flexi – Motor Takaful, which is mandatory during the first year of ownership.
However, not all Perodua models are eligible for this financing program. At the moment, the new Perodua Flexiplan is only available for Perodua Aruz, Ativa, Myvi, and Axia, with the exception of Axia E.
