In conjunction with IFA 2025 in Berlin, Samsung will be unveiling several new Galaxy devices which will serve as a new gateway for Galaxy AI. It’s happening a week before Apple unveils their latest iPhone 17 lineup.
According to the press statement, they are inviting everyone to “discover a more seamless mobile experience across a wider range of devices — from premium AI tablets to the newest member of the Galaxy S25 family“.
From the looks of it, Samsung is expected to officially announce its new Galaxy Tab S11 lineup as well as a new Galaxy S25 device which is very likely to be the Galaxy S25 FE (Fan Edition).
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy event is happening at 11:30 a.m. CEST, which is at 5:30pm Malaysian time on Thursday, 4th September 2025.

What is Samsung unveiling at Galaxy Event on 4th September?
In the past couple of weeks, Samsung had already announced the Galaxy Buds 3 FE and the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. These products are targeted to go on sale in Malaysia starting mid-September.
For the upcoming Galaxy Event, Samsung is expected to unveil its new flagship-class Galaxy Tab S11 and S11 Ultra tablets, as well as the budget-friendly Galaxy S25 FE.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra
Succeeding last year’s Galaxy Tab S10+ and S10 Ultra, the new Tab S11 series is rumoured to run on a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset. The smaller Tab S11 is said to feature an 11″ 120Hz AMOLED display and a 8,400mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Tab S11 Ultra gets a larger 14.6″ 120Hz panel and a 11,600mAh battery.
Both tablets are expected to get a 13MP main camera and a 12MP selfie shooter, as well as IP68-rated dust and water resistance.
Samsung Galaxy S25 FE
The specs for the Galaxy S25 FE were recently leaked by a Portuguese retailer. While it looks like your typical 2024-2025 Galaxy smartphone with a 6.7″ Full HD+ AMOLED display, it does come with several upgrades.
The Galaxy S25 FE will run on an Exynos 2400 chip like the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE and the selfie camera has been bumped from 10MP (Galaxy S24 FE) to 12MP. It still gets a triple-camera setup at the rear which consists of a 50MP main camera with OIS, 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 8MP telephoto camera with OIS and 3x optical zoom.
Meanwhile, the battery is said to be upgraded from 4,700mAh from last year’s S24 FE to 4,900mAh for the S25 FE, while the fast wired charging speed is also upgraded from 25W to 45W.
Mixed Reality (MX) Headset?
Samsung may unveil or tease “one more thing” at the upcoming Galaxy Event. It has been speculated that Samsung may announce a Mixed Reality headset (aka Project Moohan) which would compete with Apple’s Vision Pro.
The device is speculated to be priced at over USD 2,000 (about RM8450) and it could go on sale in South Korea starting next month.
