Apple Watch SE 3, Series 11, Ultra 3: Hypertension notifications, Sleep Score, 5G

After three years, Apple has finally updated its budget smartwatch lineup with the Apple Watch SE 3. It brings upgrades such as an Always-On Display (AOD), the S10 chip from last year’s Series 10, and faster charging speeds that can juice up the watch from flat to 80% in 45 minutes. The SE 3 is also equipped with new health features, including Sleep Score, wrist temperature sensing, retrospective ovulation estimates, and sleep apnea notifications.
The Apple Watch Series 11 might not sport major differences from its predecessor, the Series 10, but it does bring some meaningful upgrades. This includes the new high blood pressure (also known as hypertension) notifications to notify you of any potential symptoms, as well as Sleep Score. Battery life has also gotten a boost to 24 hours, up from its predecessors’ 18-hour figure.

Besides the hypertension notification and Sleep Score feature, the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is fitted with an LTPO 3 wide-angle OLED display, making it easier to look at and brighter from an angle. It’s also got 24% thinner bezels, allowing it to house the largest display on an Apple Watch.
Also new on the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is the built-in satellite connectivity that lets you stay connected when off the grid. Even without a cellular or WiFi connection, you can text emergency services, message friends and family, and share your location.

Via satellite, you can even send and receive texts, emojis, and Tapbacks to friends and family using the Messages app.
All cellular models of the 2025 Apple Watch lineup come with 5G connectivity. WatchOS 26 is shipped out of the box as standard.
