Vivo has just announced that the Vivo V60 Lite 5G will launch in Malaysia on 9th October 2025 at 3 PM, featuring a new design that’s similar to the higher-spec V60, along with upgrades to its camera system.

Vivo V60 Lite 5G specs and features
Unlike its predecessors, the Vivo V60 Lite 5G adopts a design closer to its higher-spec sibling, the V60, which debuted in Malaysia back in August. On the brand’s Taiwanese website, the device is listed in three colours — Blue, Black, and a pink shade that Vivo Malaysia markets as Pop Pink.
Under the hood, one of the main upgrades the V60 Lite 5G offers is its Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset — a step up from the Dimensity 6300 SoC found in the V50 Lite 5G.
At the front, the V60 Lite features a 6.77-inch 120Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display with HDR10+ certification, a panel largely similar to its predecessor’s. Vivo claims the screen achieves HDR10+ support and a 94.2% screen-to-body ratio.
Despite the refreshed rear design, the V60 Lite 5G retains a dual-camera setup similar to before — a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.95″ Sony IMX88 sensor, paired with an 8MP 120° ultra-wide lens. Also returning is Vivo’s signature AI Aura Light ring flash.
For selfies, there’s a 32MP front camera with a 1/3.1″ sensor. Notably, the V60 Lite now supports 4K video recording on both front and rear cameras, an improvement over the V50 Lite’s Full HD limitation.
Powering the phone is the same 6,500mAh Bluevolt battery with 90W FlashCharge support — unchanged from the previous model. On the durability front, the V60 Lite 5G has passed Military-Grade and SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance certifications. Like its predecessor, it’s expected to carry an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. Vivo also claims the phone can endure up to 12 hours of continuous heavy rain.
Finally, the device retains the dual stereo speaker setup, which Vivo says delivers a “400% volume boost” — the same claim made for the V50 Lite 5G earlier this year.
