JomCharge x DBKL continue to turn on more street-level EV charging locations in Kuchai Lama and the latest location is in front of Kuchai Lama Safety Shield.
For this location, they have deployed a DC Charger and an AC charge point with two charging bays in a side-by-side perpendicular layout.
As part of its opening promo, users can enjoy 50% off charging discount at this new location for this weekend only.
For this JomCharge x DBKL EV Charging location in front of Safety Shield Kuchai Lama, they have deployed a standalone Kempower DC Charger with two CCS2 nozzles which is rated for 100kW. Meanwhile, there’s a single 11kW AC Charge Point located next to it.
Despite being rated at 100kW, take note that there’s a hard split of 50kW for each of the DC connector. This means even if only one EV is plugged in, the max you can get is 50kW from the DC Charger.
In terms of pricing, the DC Charger is priced at RM1.40 per kWh while the AC charge point is priced at RM1.10 per kWh. Subscribers of JomCharge Elite (10% off) and JomCharge Platinum (25% off) can enjoy extra savings.
For this coming weekend, 4th to 5th July 2026, JomCharge x DBKL are offering 50% off for this location. This means you can enjoy DC charging for only RM0.70 per kWh. If you have JomCharge Elite and JomCharge Platinum subscription, you can save even more as the discount is stackable.
