Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has announced that all Malaysian adults aged 18 years old and above will receive their Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) RM100 credit on 9th February 2026.

SARA is a one-off cash aid from the government which is utilised to purchase essential goods at participating supermarkets and retail outlets.

The upcoming disbursement is the second round of SARA following the first round which ran from 31st August to 31st December 2025.

Announced during his monthly address in Putrajaya, he said the RM100 SARA will be credited beginning 9th February 2026 ahead of the Chinese New year and Ramadan period.

Budget 2026 SARA RM100

The second round of SARA was initially revealed during the tabling of Budget 2026 and it is expected to benefit 22 million Malaysian adults.
