Besides prepaid, U Mobile has also updated its postpaid offering under its new ULTRA Postpaid branding. While the plans especially their high tier options remain unchanged, U Mobile has enhanced the plans with additional priority 5G access and security protection add-ons.
As revealed during today’s launch, U Mobile’s ULTRA5G network has achieved 82.9% 5G population coverage ahead of schedule. This is Malaysia’s second 5G network which competes with Digital Nasional Berhad.
The base U Mobile postpaid plan has been replaced with a new ULTRA Postpaid 45. While it costs more at RM45/month, the plan provides more data at 500GB with hotspot usage and unlimited calls.
U Mobile ULTRA Postpaid Plans with 15GB Roaming
For customers who need more data, the next option is ULTRA Postpaid 68 which offers 1000GB of data with hotspot, and unlimited calls for RM68/month. This plan also comes bundled with 15GB of roaming data and free incoming calls from abroad in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
Meanwhile, the range topping Postpaid 98 plan is now known as ULTRA Global 98. The plan still offers 1000GB of data with hotspot, unlimited calls and 15GB of roaming data with free incoming call in over 60 countries.
U Mobile has also introduced its ULTRA WatchShare plan which provides connectivity for your smartwatch. As revealed today, all ULTRA5G Postpaid plans will get to enjoy 6x months ULTRAWatch Share for free. On top of that, U Mobile is also bundling 3 months of ULTRA Security Pro add-on which will be introduced very soon.
In addition, U Mobile is also bundling free ULTRA5G Priority Pass as well. The base ULTRA Postpaid 45 gets 1x pass while Postpaid 68 gets 2x passes. The range topping Global 98 postpaid gets 3x passes.
U Mobile ULTRA Family 128 Postpaid Plan
Meanwhile, U Mobile’s Family 128 Postpaid is now rebranded as ULTRA Family 128. It still offers 1000GB of data with hotspot shared across 4 lines and they come with unlimited calls and 15GB roaming data for over 60 countries.
ULTRA Family 128 also comes with free 3 months of ULTRA Security Pro and free 12x ULTRA5G Priority Passes (3 per line).

5G Network Slicing via ULTRA5G Priority Pass
To recap, U Mobile ULTRA5G Priority Pass is an on-demand 5G Network Slicing add-on which is designed to enable faster and higher priority access to their 5G network. This is useful for moments where you urgently need faster and more reliable 5G data in high-traffic and congested situations.
The ULTRA5G Priority Pass costs RM5 for 3 hours and RM2 per hour. U Mobile is offering the ULTRA5G Priority Pass for free and the monthly quantity varies on the plan you’re on.
Take note that ULTRA5G Priority Pass requires a compatible smartphone that supports 5G SA and it works only on U Mobile’s ULTRA5G network.
As mentioned earlier, U Mobile is also offering ULTRA Security Pro protection add-on which will be available from 14th April onwards.
The add-on costs RM5/month and it provides advanced protection which covers identity, device and also insurance coverage.
