Besides the new Mac Mini and Mac Studio, Apple has also introduced its new Polishing Cloth for 2026.
This is the first “update” since the first Polishing Cloth was introduced back in 2021.
In case you didn’t know, this official Apple branded accessory is designed to clean any Apple Display ranging from your Apple Watch, to iPhone, iPad, MacBooks and even Studio Displays.
Unlike the “first generation” product which retails for RM99.00, the new polishing cloth is actually cheaper at RM39.00. That’s a significant 60% price reduction.
If you’re interested, you can purchase one today via the Apple Store online and have it delivered by next week.
Alternatively, you can choose to pick it up yourself at the Apple The Exchange TRX store as early as 2nd September 2026.
We still don’t know what the new enhancements are for the 2026 version and if it uses different sustainable or recyclable materials. However, it retains the same description that it’s made of soft, non-abrasive material and it can clean any Apple Display including nano-texture surfaces.
If we take a close look, the new polishing cloth appears to have a different texture and it has a darker shade of grey. The embossed logo looks slightly different as shown below.
When it comes to compatibility, the product supports devices from iPhone 5, iPad mini (1st gen), iPad (5th gen), iPad Air (1st gen), iPad Pro (1st gen), iMac 2014, MacBook Neo, MacBook Air 2018, MacBook 2015, MacBook Pro 2019 Apple Watch 1st gen, Studio Display, Pro Display XDR and above.
