Hisense has expanded its Lifestyle Series lineup with the introduction of the RoamView.
Pitched as a flexible alternative to traditional fixed televisions and small mobile tablets, the portable 4K monitor is built for easy movement between different rooms.
A movable 4K screen powered by a battery stand
The main selling point of the RoamView is its integrated battery, which resides in the stand rather than the display panel.
This setup lets users move the screen around the house to follow recipes, exercise, or watch movies without needing a wall socket. The mount supports tilt, rotation, and height adjustments for different viewing angles.
However, detaching the display panel from the stand removes its power source. Once detached, the screen requires a direct connection to an electrical outlet to function.
Unspecified processor and missing technical details
Hisense omitted several key technical details from the local announcement, including physical screen size, panel type, brightness, refresh rate, battery capacity, and estimated runtime.
Based on equivalent global releases, this is likely the Hisense 32 inch Class S6 RoamView, which features a portable touchscreen running on a smart Android display platform.
The company claims the unit delivers 4K streaming and smooth multitasking backed by 8GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. However, the exact processor model powering the system remains unspecified, described only as a high performance platform.
Built in interactive apps but no price yet
The software includes preloaded utilities such as a digital whiteboard, sketchpad, art gallery mode, and the Karafun karaoke application.
The RoamView joins the CanvasTV in the brand Lifestyle Series display range.
Hisense has yet to announce official local pricing, availability dates, or retail release details for Malaysia.
